OK, I'll tell you.

On March 27th it was my birthday on which I turned 15! 

Yes, I had a great birthday...

And yes, I got some pretty awesome presents from some pretty awesome friends! :)

OK, let me tell you how my weekend went:

FRIDAY:

Friday night I invited all of my friends over for the opening night of bible study and for my birthday sleepover.

When everyone arrived, we talked, ate, and talked some more.. Lol

Then we headed upstairs to have bible study (which lasted way longer than expected!).

We sang  Amazing Grace-My Chains Are Gone.

and another amazing song that I forgot.. haha.

Then, after talking some more, we went back downstairs to eat cake and open presents.

 Here is what I got:

1. a TJMaxx gift card

2. a Lifeway gift card

3. The new Francesca Battestelli CD called Hundred More Years 

4. The new Owl City CD called Ocean Eyes

5. two pairs of earrings 

6. the Apples to Apples game in Bible version

7. P.S. I Love You fragrance by Bath and Body Works

8. an iTunes gift card

9. cards (duh...)

and finally 

10. a t-shirt

I'm so blessed to have amazing friends like Katie, Annie, Bethany, Molly, KayCee, Kricia, and Magan! I love you, girls! :)

SATURDAY:

Saturday I stayed home until, like, 4:30 waiting for all of my friends to leave my house, and then we (my family and I) went to eat at Bob Evans.

After we got done eating, we went to a good 'ole gospel singing of Gold City.

Ya gotta have some variety of music in your life, ya know? lol

After that singing we came home and went to bed. 

The rest was much needed! 

SUNDAY:

Alas, my birthday has arrived! 

I woke up that morning and all that was running through my mind was "OMG, I'm 15 now. I'm exactly a year older than I was yesterday! Oh, but wait, I don't feel older.. Then again I didn't feel any older on my 14th birthday either.. Oh well!" and etc...

I got up, got ready, and headed to church!

I got to the church and walked into Sunday School. 

Everyone was like "Happy Birthday, Kaela! Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday!"

I don't know how many times I said "Thank You" while grinning! 

Then, after church was over, I went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse with my Mom, Dad, sister, Nana, and Poppy! :)

Then, when I was so stuffed I couldn't stand it, I went with my mom to go to Target - where I got the most amazing backpack/purse thing - and then we treked over to Maurices where I got a ton of new clothes and things for my birthday! 

Altogether it was a great weekend!

I can't wait until next years birthday (on which I turn 16! Oh yeah!)



P.S. Ok, here's the deal...
This post was originally started on March the 28th.
Since I have not been on my blog since then (which is REALLY sad!) I have updated it just a bit. Just so it doesnt sound like yesterday was my birthday..
lol
So, I just wanted to tell you that in case you were wondering "Why are you posting about your birthday way after it actually occurred?". haha

Anyways, I'm just trying to catch you up on my life since my birhtday. I'm so so sorry that I haven't been posting!
Just to warn you, my life gets a little stressful and I will forget to post sometimes.. But have no fear! Because I will still post, just not everyday! Like I said in an earlier post, I won't be poting but once every week or every other week. I know, its sad. But I am still sorry. Forgive me? lol

Yesterday was my birthday

Aw Man, I'm Sick!

This stinks! 

I'm at home, sick. I'm sitting on my couch, sick. I'm writing this, sick.

I'm just plain ole' sick!

Anyways, I have a thesis statement due tomorrow for my Grammar class at school!

You see, I'm writing a 5-7 page long paper on C.S. Lewis. So, I'm trying to gather all this information about him and cram it all into one little thesis statement sentence thingy. This is what I have right now(minus the picture):

C.S. Lewis, an inspiring Christian author, is best remembered for writing his famous series of books The Chronicles of Narnia.

What do YOU think? I, personally, don't think that it has enough detail. Yet, at this moment, I'm not really caring because I am sick, so blah blah blah stupid thesis statement! Haha! :P

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Eeeep!

I'm proud to announce that in - let me see, here... *counts in head and on fingers* - 13 DAYS I will be 15!

YES, I said that number... 15!!!

I'm so excited!

So, I was talking to my mom and friends the other day and I said that I kind of wanted a surprise birthday party, but on the other hand, since some (most) of my other friends have been having those kinds of birthday parties, I didn't really want to have one of those.

Instead, I think I just want, like, a chilled party. Just, you know, relaxing and stuff at my house. Nothing HUGE! Lol

But watch them give me a huge one, anyways...

Haha!

I can't wait, because maybe next year I'll be able to DRIVE!!!

AHHHHHHH!!!!! (Lol..)

Here are some things that are on my birthday wish list:

1. Another (because I already have one) Deas Vail CD
2. All of the Owl City Cd's
3. An iTunes gift card (only because I am absolutely in l-o-v-e with my iPod (which is a touch, by the way! lol)
4. Some new clothes, preferably from: Maurice's, Dillard's, Lane Bryant, and Fashion Bug (yes, I'm that cool because I shop at Dillard's, Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug! Haha). Macy's, American Eagle, and other such places...
5. Accessories, handbags, and/or sunglasses from Charlotte Russe, New York and Company, Wet Seal and etc...
6. a new phone (too pricey, right? Lol..)

I'm thinking that's it (for now... lol)

Ok, so right now my hands are really dry so I'm going to incoporate a "lotion" post into my birthday post!

But it does keep my hands dry pretty much all day long! Lol

My favorite out of all of these is the Bali Mango lotion! It's from Bath and Body Works! I actually got it as a present from one of my neighbors for Christmas this past year! It's awesome! I would definately reccommend it! Lol

While we're on the topic of things that smell good, why dont I just go ahead ans post the perfumes that I use... Haha! :
